Cheryle Maurer, Senior Manager
Cherlye Maurer is a Senior Manager with Leadership Strategies, Inc., a firm specializing in teaching leadership training classes in group facilitation, consulting, strategic planning, project planning, team building and management excellence.
Cheryle is also an independent organizational development consultant with 11 years Sales, Marketing and Sales Training experience in consumer financial services, wireless telecommunications, insurance, oil and gas transportation, health and beauty products, medical devises and consumer-packaged goods. She has specialized knowledge in training design, development, deployment, facilitation, performance management and project management.
Prior to starting her own consulting business, Performance Consulting, LLC, Cheryle was an internal organizational development consultant and training specialist. Cheryle maintained sole responsibility for conceptualization, design, development, and deployment of a corporate university for a national sales organization. Cheryle has created effective, interactive training programs using collaborative consulting techniques. She has developed training reinforcement vehicles (audio, video and CD-ROM skill reinforcement tools and training exercises, training manuals, job aids and sales tools) that link marketing products and services to sales activities.
Cheryle's additional experience includes designing developmental evaluation tools and procedures to assess and improve performance of field sales personnel. She created performance management training modules, real-time coaching tools and participant-driven performance appraisal systems to support corporate infrastructures. She has conducted needs assessments and strategic planning sessions with senior leadership, management teams, field sales forces and employees to create user friendly strategic plans that could be executed at all levels of the organization.
Cheryle uses innovation, creativity and an interactive style to facilitate training programs, conduct performance feedback sessions and facilitate problem solving or conflict resolution sessions. She has worked in a broad range of industries and collaborated with clients in efforts to enhance work productivity and relationships. Some of Cheryle's clients include: The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, Goldwell USA, Fortis, Colonial Pipeline Company, Cantel AT&T, CIBA Vision (a Novartis Company) and The Royal Bank of Canada. Cheryle excels at interacting with individuals at all levels of organizations where her focus is to assess and support sustainable change.
Cheryle is a certified instructor for three Wilson Learning programs: "Counselor Salesperson", "Versatile Salesperson", and "Managing Sales Performance". She is also a Leadership Strategies certified facilitator for The Effective Facilitator.
